As early as 9:00 am, we go straight to Robe’s Pensione house as we stayed here for our 2 days left in Cebu. After we brought our things to Robe and secured it in the storage area since we are not able to check-in early due to the room is not yet available, we started our Twin City Tour.
First stop, at the Taoist temple.
We spend most of our time here in Taoist temple. What could I say, this temple was secured with many guards around facilities reminding every guest the do’s and don’ts around and inside the temple. You should minimized your voice all the times (shouting is a big No-No here). Pictures are not allowed inside the temple and inside of the 2 prayer rooms (In upper and side of the temple). There were lot of sacred artifacts here, and inside the temple there was a fortune teller can be hire to see your fortune ahead. And in the side of the temple was located a souvenir shop to buy some lucky charm and I did bought a lucky coin.

Next, the Magellan’s cross & Sto. Niño de Basilica
Magellan’s cross and the Sto. Nino de Basilica are located near to each other. You will be amazed with the art around the ceiling of the Magellan’s cross shrine. Below the cross there was a brief description stated that, “This Cross of tindalo Wood Encases the Original Cross Planted By Ferdinand Magellan On This Very Site, April 21, 1521”. And the rest is history as there was saying. Basilica Minore del Santo is the oldest church in the Philippines. Beside the church you can see a place for all the people who want to pray and have a wish. Just lit a candle provided in a box that scattered in the corner of the place. In the center of the church you could see Sto. Niño in one end of the quadrangle.
