Cheapest accomodation in tagaytay!

Updated post related to Jesca Aug 2016

 ____________________________________________________________________________

This October is my mom birthday month, so I decided to have a 2-day vacation not so far from Manila as a treat to her. Since Tagaytay is nearer than Baguio and we want to feel the cool breeze morning with fog, we decided to go to Tagaytay.

Choosing accomodation from one of the hotels or rooms in Tagaytay is the hardest part and take me so long to deal with. Doing searching and surfing the net makes me more depressed seeing a price that is not suitable in our budget. There a lot of hotels, inns, lodges, rooms and houses in the Tagaytay to choose from, but the problem is, lot of them are expensive. After a week of searching, thanks to this blog, http://mynosebleed.com/2011/08/01/best-place-to-stay-overnight-in-tagaytay, and I've found a place to stay in Tagaytay.

A week before, we schedule our trip to tagaytay. My sister already did the booking in Jesca lakeview bed and breakfast. Initially we planned to get in tagaytay with 13 persons and Ms. Rose was kind and quoted us Php 3750 for the 3 rooms, but because of some reason and typhoon in that week we were down at 6 persons and a day before our trip we informed Ms. Rose and ask for deduction, and she quoted us Php 2500 for 2 rooms.

Despite typhoon Santi attacking the Luzon at that day (October 12, 2013), it didn't stop us. 11 am, morning of Saturday we headed to Southern Luzon terminal at coastal mall. From there, we headed to Tagaytay via bus (route to Nasugbu Batangas) with fare of Php 76 per person, not bad. We asked the conductor to drop us in front on the Lourdes Church in Aguinaldo Highway along Tagaytay. As instructed by Ms. Rose, from there we can walk through the sign board proveda and we can see the jesca. And that's it, we on the right track and found the jesca. But you will need to be careful down to jesca, cause the road is quite stiff.

Outside the house there was the sign board of the name, so you will not hard to look for it. After having a chat with Ms. Rose we headed to our rooms. The two rooms are quite spacious with 6 of us. One room can accommodate up-to 5 persons with  CR inside that is common for the second room that can accommodate up-to 3 persons. So if we combine the two rooms, it can accommodate up-to 8 persons (6 adults and 2 children).

Since it was raining outside, roaming around jesca is the thing we can do while raining. Yes, the rooms and C.R. were clean, but you can see some of the signs that the house is old. There were signs of cracked on wall, damaged door's brace and rusty furniture. But it was ok, since we are in tight budget and not rich to stay in an expensive hotel, those rooms were enough to stay for a night. We were in the second floor and no aircon since we were in Tagaytay and at the same time it was raining! Hahaha! The rain enhance the cold weather in Tagaytay.

You can consider Jesca in your list of accommodation in Tagaytay. And I must say it is the cheapest accommodation so far. To add on that, Jesca is near in oliverarez plaza and one ride to olivarez terminal where you can ride a jeep going to some tourist destinations like picnic groove, people's park and palace in the sky.

Tip: choose the second floor, it's better than the first floor.
